As Chambers’ Director, Sarah is responsible for the efficient management and development of Chambers. She is a highly organised and enthusiastic leader with a substantial history in the legal profession.
Sarah has a proven ability to effectively manage and ensure adherence to quality compliance standards. She is experienced in establishing and managing business relationships while improving service performance.
Sarah has the ability to adapt rapidly to diverse and demanding markets and is a professional team player with strong interpersonal, strategic planning and decision making skills.
Sarah has over 30 years experience, starting her career with Alsop Stevens Batesons and later with E. Rex Makin & Co. Solicitors. She came to work with the Bar in 1990 joining the Chambers of R.A. Fordham QC in Liverpool and thereafter spent five years with Deans Court Chambers in Manchester. Sarah joined Oriel Chambers in 1998 as Chambers’ first Director.
Sarah also sits on the NSPCC Merseyside Women’s Corporate Board.
